This look was inspired by the New York vibe- It was strong yet feminine & practical yet edgy! Even though I am a Cali girl and will always be but when it comes to my style you can sure see, its an eclectic mix New York and LA. Minimalism, Structure & Femininity all three things were in my mind when I put this outfit together. I wanted to wear something that was more practical and yet had that edge and style. Layering the right pieces together to create the perfect look was the idea. The tweed coat gave it more of a luxe & structured look and ruffled sleeve top added a touch of femininity to counter balance. Tweed is timeless and the modern silhouette of this coat just made it perfect for me. I accessorized it with my new favorite Amor Fati leather shoulder bag that I am totally obsessed with right now and Classic Victoria Sunglasses by Victoria Beckham.
Even though I was in New York for just 3 days that flew by, in between shows and meetings but still had a fabulous time at NYFW. It was freezing cold the day we landed. Next day it was snowing and the last day it was raining. If you follow me on snap chat I am sure you saw the video clips for the shows. Alice and Olivia’s presentation was creatively put together and it took you back to 1960’s New York scene. Prabal Gurung & Dennis Basso were absolutely amazing as well. To sum it up it was a great experience 🙂
