LEATHER PIECES YOU NEED THIS FALL TO UPGRADE YOUR WARDROBE

There are some trends that always stay on the top, leather being one of them! Apart from keeping you warm, a leather piece can add an edge to any winter look! Though it has been on and off the trend chart since quite a few years, it has never completely gone off the shelves of your favorite store. While biker jackets first came into being in the early 50s, models were spotted in head-to-toe leather looks in the early 80’s and once again, it’s time to pull out some old leather pieces and pair ’em with new ones to get that ‘leather chic’ look! Here are some of my favorite pieces for the season (though I love ’em all)!

Tops

Bodysuits, shirts, bandeau tops and what not, leather pieces are all you need to spice up your everyday look! Apart from classic black pieces, there are some colorful retro archives that nailed the runway then and are doing the same now! If you want that sophisticated edgy vibe for the season, I’d totally recommend you to slip into a basic leather piece and pair it with your other favorites!

Coats

When it comes to outerwear pieces, leather trench coats with broad shoulders, slightly cinched waists and feminine silhouettes are adorning the wardrobes of every fashion IT girl this season. I love styling a trench with complementing knee-high boots as they make the legs look longer and the attire sophisticated. Whether on-duty or off-duty, you can never go wrong with such outerwear pieces!

Jackets

One of the most iconic pieces, ‘the biker jacket’ has more or less, always ruled the fall trend chart and it’s here again to make the trend even bigger! A shearling leather jacket, a classic biker jacket or the one with rock studs on it, I can literally never get enough of ’em! Style one up with combat boots, vintage cateye glasses and coordinated pants to get that typical ‘biker chic’ look! If you haven’t invested on a biker jacket yet, you definitely should (I’m sure you won’t regret it)!

How do you plan to style your leather pieces? Do not forget to share with me!

Thanks
