Mom jeans trend has been really taking off lately. I was initially reluctant to wear thinking that it might look frumpy but its all about pairing it right. When mom jeans are done right they can look uber cool.
Right fit is extremely important otherwise your butt can look like a 90’s sitcom mom and ahh we don’t want that. It should be high waist as it narrows the waistline. It should be snug to the hip not suctioned and roomy enough for thighs and tapers sharply towards the ankle for a modern edgier look for the mom jeans. It has to show off your ankle so roll up the hem of your jeans. Make sure the top your pair it with is not too tight. Try a boxy crop top or something roomy that just hits the waist or pair it with a cami and short leather jacket and accessorize it with some pointy toe heels for a feminine touch or block heels for a more effortless cool girl vibe. A pair of pointy flat shoes can look really cool too.
